“The quartet tells a story, rather than merely evoking something,” wrote Jan Hocek about the album in His Voice magazine. He called the work with dynamics, with the thickening and build-up of the musical flow, truly exemplary, and the nine pieces that grew out of free improvisation a remarkable concept album.
The line-up came together for this project alone. Aleš Charvát asked this group of exceptional soloists to meet at SONO studio for a two-day session, without any preparation, and simply play together. The band had never played in this form before.
