The debut solo album by Ridina Ahmedová. It contains ten pieces, most of them her own, complemented by pieces by John Coltrane and Vinx de Jon Parette. On it, Ahmedová works with the technique of layering her own voice, building polyphonic compositions and songs from it. She came to music made of voice after a hand injury prevented her from continuing to play the piano.
Ridina was the first Czech singer to come up with a “self-looping” orchestra made of her own voice, a decade before the technique became popular on the local scene. In 2006 it was avant-garde. The record is colourful, original, playful and still a joy to listen to years later.
