Osmosis is a jazz quintet built on the original compositions of František Otakar Kukula and Robin Galia. The band moves on the border between the jazz tradition and contemporary influences, with an emphasis on tonal colour and the shifting form of its pieces. Besides jazz it draws on electronics, pop melody, looser sonic textures and contemporary classical music, naturally bridging acoustic and electronic instruments.
