Tellemarkk is a band on the Czech music scene made up of three strong personalities.
Dorota Barová, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer known from the bands Tara Fuki and Vertigo and from her work with Lenka Dusilová, Aneta Langerová and others.
Tomáš Reindl, a composer, multi-instrumentalist and player of tabla and many other instruments. On the new album he also uses electronics, which he combines very sensitively with the sound of acoustic instruments and the human voice, enhancing it. Shahab Tolouie, Amit Chatterjee, Slet bubeníků, Pavel Fajt, Lenka Lichtenberg, Yair Dalal, the BERG orchestra and The Tap Tap are among the other artists Tomáš works with.
Pavel Hrubý, a player of bass clarinet and soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, a composer and one of the leading figures of experimental jazz. He leads the jazz band Limbo and is a member of many notable jazz groups, such as Between The Lines, Phoenix Quartet, Pigeon Saxophone Quartet and NUO.
The CD, unambiguously titled Tellemarkk, will carry you off into evocative musical worlds. This is music that crosses boundaries, on the border of world music, ambient and electronics.
