Bio Trio is Hammond organist and singer Jakub Zomer, guitarist Lukáš Chejn and drummer Martin Kopřiva, three musicians who have been active on the Czech jazz scene for over twenty years. The band came about by chance: Chejn stood in for the guitarist of Zomer’s former band Blues Bond, and a one-off substitution turned into a new group. The trio plays exclusively original repertoire, instrumental as well as vocal pieces, in which jazz and blues meet hip-hop, rock, country and gospel. Its debut album B3 is released by Amplión Records on 21 November 2026, with rapper Orion as a guest.
