Although Lucie Kukulová had been involved in the making of other CDs before, this recording is the first to be released under the Amplión name. At that time Alexej Charvát was not yet working with our label. The projects that followed are oriented more towards original music, but we are glad that Olga’s beautiful voice, the fine performances of her backing band and the engaging melodies of well-known standards were our very foundation stone.

www.olgaskrancova.cz

Katalogové číslo: AMP03001

With great jazz feeling, improvisational invention and sure intonation, Olga Škrancová sings standards from early swing to the bebop era.
