The band played in a stable line-up from 2011: Petr Kalfus (flute, saxophones, bass clarinet), Jakub Doležal (tenor saxophone), Jan Jirucha (trombone), Jiří Neužil (piano, keyboards), Petr Dvorský (double bass) and Martin Kopřiva (drums). Its members also play in Concept Art Orchestra, Lanugo and Los Quemados. At first the sextet played the ten-part suite Sight to Sound by the American saxophonist Walt Weiskopf, dedicated to painters such as Monet, Van Gogh and Picasso; it presented it at JazzFestBrno in 2015. Gradually the members’ own compositions, above all those of Jan Jirucha, came to prevail. These also make up the album Night Talks (Amplión Records, 2016), influenced by modern jazz as well as contemporary classical music. After the album’s release the members went their separate ways, and the sextet no longer plays.

["post-3749","band","type-band","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
